Kyle Louise Kleyn van de Poll's Obituary
Kyle Louise Kleyn van de Poll, 67, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Lewes, Delaware. Born on October 18, 1957, in Englewood, New Jersey, Kyle was the beloved daughter of Marion Miller McAuliffe and Ian Kleyn van de Poll. Stepdaughter to William McAuliffe and Ruth Kleyn van de Poll.
A graduate of Ramsey High School, Class of 1975, Kyle built a successful career as a Business Development Manager at Holland America Line and later as an entrepreneur. Her professional path reflected her determination, creativity, and passion for meaningful connections.
Kyle will be remembered as a generous and loving person who always thought of others before herself. She had a keen sense of style and a deep appreciation for fashion, always presenting herself with grace and care. Her polished appearance, complete with her nails often painted in her favorite color, Dutch Tulip, was a reflection of the pride she took in everything she did and grace she brought into all aspects of her life.
Kyle lived a vibrant life, enriched by her many passions. She loved cooking and exploring the world through travel, especially cruising, which brought her great joy. She was an avid golfer, particularly during her years living in Florida, and cherished the time she spent on the course. At home, Kyle was happiest surrounded by family and friends, and she had a special place in her heart for her cats, whose companionship she deeply treasured.
She is survived by her sister, Karen Craney, her cherished step-siblings, and many beloved cousins who will continue to honor her memory and the warmth she brought into their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on August 20, 2025, in Lewes, Delaware, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory. For more details message Laura Momorella or Vicki Lentz.
