Kristin M. Murphy's Obituary
Kristin Marr Murphy of Milton, passed away with loved ones supporting her on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Christiana Hospital, in Christiana, DE. After many years of battling cancer, her heart and strong will to live could no longer sustain her.
Born in 1972 at Cafritz Hospital in Washington, D.C., Kristin was the daughter of Diane Stonesifer, currently Bair and Thomas Bradley. She grew up in Prince Georges County, Maryland, and graduated from Crossland High School in 1989.
After graduation Kristin moved to North Carolina where she briefly attended college and then began her career in accounting. During her years of employment, Kristin worked in the Raleigh/Greensboro, N.C. area for several automobile dealerships and other industries using her skills in finance.
Kristin’s love of social relationships was evident in her choices of pastimes. She was a long-time member of a pool team in NC whose successes provided opportunities for travel to Las Vegas to compete in national championships. Her creative talents were evident in her enjoyment of beading uniquely designed bracelets which usually became gifts for her family and friends. Wherever she went, Kristin made connections with people who soon became close friends. These friendships helped to encourage her through her many medical ordeals.
Kristin is survived by her son Ryan Connor Lowe, her mother Diane S. Bair (Mike), her partner Fred Daley, her godmother Lois Hobbs, and other loving family members. She is also survived by her special companion, Luna, her dog, who was always by her side.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 2:30 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM.
