Kevin R. Dieffenbach's Obituary
Kevin R. Dieffenbach, age 20 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. He was born September 13, 1990, in Willingboro, NJ son of Kenneth R. Dieffenbach of Hamilton ,NJ and Susan J. Sokowski of Rehoboth Beach.
Kevin graduated from Cape Henlopen High School, Lewes, DE in 2008. After graduation he attended the University of Delaware, Newark, DE, in pursuit of a degree in Physics and Language Studies. He loved music, especially rock and roll. Kevin was very talented playing the lead guitar with Jazz and other bands. Kevin also loved traveling, cooking, long boarding, the beach, and most of all spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his brother: John Lynam of Rehoboth Beach; sisters: Kristy Miller and husband Ray of Gibbsboro, NJ, Ava Lynam of Rehoboth Beach; grandmothers: Katherine Sokowski of Maple Shade, NJ and Dorothy Dieffenbach of Hamilton, NJ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be private. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 2:00PM-3:00PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children’s Hospital of Boston, c/o Children’s Hospital Trust, 1 Autumn Street, #731, Boston, MA 02215.
