Kevin Joseph Bosley's Obituary
Kevin Joseph Bosley, age 63 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. He was born on September 24, 1960, in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles R. Jr. and Shirley Bosley (Orem).
Kevin earned a master’s degree in education and started his career as a schoolteacher, recently retiring to the beach area.
He enjoyed outdoor landscaping and taking care of houseplants in the sunroom. Kevin loved everything that coastal living had to offer, especially the time spent at the beach, soaking up the sun and listening to the waves. When his time was not spent on the beach, he enjoyed biking around Rehoboth, or going to Mardi Gras. A passion throughout his life was creating a welcoming home, and he always made a house feel like home through his decorating enhancements, especially during the holidays. Above all, Kevin treasured time spent with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted partner, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
Kevin is survived by his partner, Rocky Bible; his son Robert Bible of Rehoboth Beach, DE.; his brother Mark Bosley and wife Deborah; his sisters Dian Bosley, Bonnie Bosley all of whom reside in Maryland; his nephew, Justin Bosley; his nieces: Jalyn Bosley of Maryland; Jill (Bosley) Garvick and husband Matthew of Maryland, Brittney Dawn Bible and wife Chelsea Dixon Bible of Honolulu, HI; and his beloved cat Kelo.
A celebration of life will be at a later date in Delaware and Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Kevin's memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, https://www.cff.org/give-monthly , or the Multiple Sclerosis Association, https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/campaign/Kevin-Bosley-Memorial-Fund.
