Kenneth E. Ferguson's Obituary
Kenneth E. Ferguson, age 66, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at, Christiana Hospital. He was born in Baltimore, MD, on February 19, 1950, son of the late Craton and Stella (Mays) Ferguson, of Ellicott City, MD.
Ken lived, worked and played most of his life in or around Howard County, MD prior to moving to a new home and community in Bridgeville, DE that he loved. His lifelong interest in car racing, restoring cars and building faster motors led Ken to meet many people throughout his life. He built many friendships which brought a lot of laughter, fun and joy into his life as well as others. He was known for his great sense of humor.
In his spare time, Ken enjoyed using his hands to make, fix and improve things, make creative wood works, and photography. He loved working and caring for his yard to create a beautiful area that he took pride in.
His life and memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Ella Ferguson (Sheppard); Along with his daughter Shelia Marie Stuples (Ferguson); son-in law David K. Stuples; 4 grandchildren: Mysti Rose; Daniel Craton, Joshua Adam and Jacob Ray; and 5 great grandchildren, Kevin, Nathan, Alyssa, Liam and Jaxson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 1:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may call beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken's name to a local charity of your choice.
