Kenneth E. Brumbaugh's Obituary
Kenneth Elwood Brumbaugh, age 89 of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 23, 2018, after a long illness. He was born on March 25, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Roy E. and Mildred M. (Turner) Brumbaugh.
Mr. Brumbaugh was a graduate of Lansdale High School, Lansdale, PA and Columbia Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He was a proud Veteran of the US Navy, serving honorably from 1946 to 1948. Mr. Brumbaugh was a self-employed public accountant in PA before retiring to Millsboro DE in 2003. On August 16, 1958, he married the love of his life, Diane Elaine Swartz in Telford, PA. Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of many organizations, including the Lions Club (Lansdale PA), Loyal Order of Moose (Sellersville PA Lodge), and a charter member of Tall Spruce Hunting Club (Wellsboro PA). Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brumbaugh was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane in 2007; and his brothers: Thomas in 1989 and Edwin in 2006. He is survived by his sons: William M. (Lynne) of Millsboro, DE, and K. Paul (Cindy) of Windsor, CT; his grandchildren: Ethan of Telford, PA, and Jessica of Millsboro, DE; his great-granddaughter Alyssa; his cousin, Jeanne Whittington of MD; his nieces: Linda Behrens of S.C., and Debbie Rinedollar of PA.; his nephew, Edwin Jr (Sparky) of PA; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law: Thomas Swartz (Bunny), and Robin Swartz (Janice); and his sisters-in-law: Patricia Ferketich (Andrew) and Janice Burns (Joseph), all of PA.
All services will be private.
