still in disbelief....
Kathy and I met while doing local theater in Reading, PA. I knew her mother as she worked at e bank on Muhlenberg Street where I would cash my checks. I was invited to the house once on New Year's Eve for a spaghetti dinner and because I was in a 3 piece suit, Kathy made me wear a table cloth so the sauce would not get all over my clothes. Funny memory as well as many others while doing shows. She came to my house once when I was quite sick and brought me a Barbara Streisand album on which she sang "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" with Neil Diamond since it was a favorite song of mine at the time. We too drifted as she moved from the area but she had an infectious laugh that made everyone around her simply happy. I to pray her illness was short lived and my sincere condolence at your loss. I was greatly saddened when I learned of her passing. I pray her memories will bring you joy.
I just learned of Cathy's passing. Cathy and I worked together and performed in local theater many years ago. We shared some happy times, but drifted apart and lost contact, which seems almost impossible in today's age of instant and global communication. It seems she led a wonderful, fulfilling life and grew to be the beautiful woman both inside and out that I knew she would. I pray she was happy, and didn't suffer her illness long. My sincerest condolences.
George and Jimmy,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your sister Kathy. You may not remember me as it was long ago, but I grew up down the block from you and your parents. I remember your mother washing the front window as you guys were just moving into the house. That was the first time I met your family. Kathy and I were just about the same age.
I hope in time you all will have good memories of Kathy that will bring a smile to your faces.
May God bless and comfort you during this time,
Nadine (Moyer) Mikucki
Over the years I often thought about Kathy . We were in some classes together @ NE JR High . We had a lot of fun and laughs . She was a cute little thing . I am glad I got to see her face as she looked all grown up . She is so beautiful . Still looks the same though . I had not seen her since early 70's. God Bless and sorry for your loss .
I am so very sorry for your loss. Cathy was a good friend & I will miss her so much!
Sending Prayers and Hugs.
