Kathleen "Kate" C. Beam's Obituary
Kathleen "Kate" C. Beam age 71 of Milton, Delaware, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware. She was born on January 11, 1949 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Campbell) Hughes of Paterson, New Jersey.
Mrs. Beam lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and then spent the last 13 years in Delaware. She gained citizenship in 1976 during the United States Bicentennial. Mrs. Beam loved watching television and enjoyed home decorating. She was loved by many and a great sister-in-law and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Beam is survived by her loving husband, Mark Beam of Milton, Delaware; her daughter, Jennifer of Fredericksburg, Virginia and her beloved dog, Samantha and cherished cat, Cali.
An informal gathering for friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Beam's memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 Dupont Blvd, Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
