I was privileged to have known Kay back when! A naturally warm and caring person with a thirst for knowledge, she left a lasting impact on Seaford's Spark program. I remember her as an energetic and organized professional with a positive, can-do attitude -- both in her work with students and as a parent and as a care-giver for her mother. I suspect that Meg and Marybeth inherited similar traits that were used as they oversaw Kay's final years. Please know, even as you close this final chapter of your Mom's life, that she is remembered fondly.

I send my sincere condolences to all of Kay's family. I never will forget her wonderful humor and spirit in the years I was so close to Richard and her. We had such great fun together and even though we drifted apart as friends do over the years, I can still recall vividly all the great times that we shared . That photo looks just like she did in 1955 when I first came to Bridgeville and saw what Sussex life really was like.
I can truthfully say "Gone but not forgotten."
