I was/am heartbroken that Kathy is no longer here. I always looked forward to seeing her at our family gatherings. She always had a smile and genuine concern for me and my family. And we always laughed! I sure do miss Kathy. But I am grateful for the many great memories. RIP Kathy
It is with heartfelt sympathy that I write this to you. I will miss Kathy. She was my go to person at our family celebrations. I loved to talk to her. We would discuss many topics. I would share with her what was going on in my life because of her warm smile, sparkling blue eyes, quick wit and excellent listening skills. She always gave me good advice and made me feel better after confiding in her. It really did not matter that there were tons of people around us or that there was all the noise that a party can have. She would be sharply focused and so funny. We loved to dance and we loved our disco music. She would always ask about Jesika and I would get her updated. I will miss her kind and gentle manner. She was a person with deep intuition who knew what to do and say. Kathy was a gift to us. I know she knows this, she was our famiglia. Sending love and prayers to Carol and the family. I will never forget Kathy’s warm smile whenever I saw her at family gatherings. She had such a calm, strong presence and always a kind word. One time she gave me very helpful advice and I was too young to heed her wise words. I regret not following her advice and wish I told her so. I’m sorry she was taken from everyone she loved and everyone who loved her. May she Rest In Peace.
Kathy was a Gem. One of kind. If you were able to catch a quiet corner with her at a large, usually loud family gathering, she had the innate ability of being able to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. She will always be one person that I infallible looked forward to seeing, although visits were forever too brief and infrequent. Kathy lit up rooms just by her presence, although that wasn’t her intention. It would just happen. She was a genuine joy, that will be missed. I’m grateful for knowing her, and calling her family. My heart breaks for her close family and friends, especially Carol. I am so sorry for this tremendous loss, and sending you all love from across great distance.

I cannot describe the feeling of loss that I have today. For 34 years she kept me grounded and always gave me honest input and advice. We had so many great times, especially around Christmas. She would laugh at my jokes and crazy antics. We had good time and some tough times too but she was always there with Love and Support. And I'll never forget about playing cards with Kath! She was a fierce competitor and a good teammate....depending on the game. She gave me a run for my money and in the end we always had a ton of laughs. What I will miss the most is seeing her light up with big eyes whenever I made my Macaroni, Meatballs & Gravy, especially the Bolognaise Lasagna for Christmas (at her request).
I will always love you Kath and will miss you dearly. My heart is missing a piece.

I will always cherish my time with Kathy. Our time together was filled with a lot of laughter and fun. We played cards/games, riding bikes, dancing, and telling jokes. Kathy had a great soul and I will miss her dearly.

I always remember as a kid, going to my Gram and Aunt Kaths house was my favorite thing in the world. Aunt Kath would always greet me with multiple kisses on the cheek and lots and lots of hugs. Aunt Kath never ceased to make me laugh and smile. She brought much joy to my life and i remember little things with her, even going to the grocery store and our little conversations on the way there. Aunt Kath will always hold a special place in my heart and it is not fair that she has been taken away from me and my family this early on. I truly love and will always miss you and your bright smile, everything about you warmed my heart and all the hearts around me, I love you aunt Kath.
Not only did Aunt Kath love me and show me how to be a better person, but she impacted me in ways she will never even know. She has showed me what it is like to be a caring, compassionate, and overall good person. She had such a bright smile that would light up every room and was just an enjoyable person to be around. All I have wanted to do was make her proud because she always believed in me, and I know she will be watching over me in my successes and failures. I will forever miss being called tootsie and I will always remember all of the fun memories we had together.
