Katherine Ann Worthington's Obituary
Katherine Ann Worthington age 70, of Bowie, Maryland passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her residence in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She was born February 16, 1951, in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Leland G. Worthington, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Moseley Worthington. She was also predeceased by a brother, James Worthington, formerly of College Park, MD and a sister-in-law of Charlotte, NC.
Miss Worthington retired as an Assistant U. S Attorney after 25 years of service for the US Attorney’s office in Washington D.C. She was thoroughly interested in the family ancestry and worked on it for many years as well as tending to her gardens.
Miss Worthington is survived by two sisters, Deborah Frazzano, Rehoboth Beach, DE and Patricia Sartain, Glen Allen, VA; brother Charles Worthington, Charlotte, NC; three nephews, Mark Sartain, Jr., Glen Allen, VA, Michael Frazzano, and Stephen Frazzano, both of Rehoboth Beach, DE; four nieces Amber Prescott, Glen Allen, VA, Lauren Worthington and Jacqueline Worthington both of Charlotte, NC and Ashley Williams, Spotsylvania, VA: great niece, Mikaila Prescott, Glen Allen, VA; great nephews Jessie Prescott, Glen Allen, VA and Aidan Williams, Spotsylvania, VA; her brother-in-laws Mark Sartain, Glen Allen, VA and Frank Frazzano, Rehoboth Beach, DE
