Julio Arnaldo Maisonet Sr.'s Obituary
Julio Arnaldo Maisonet Sr., age 56 of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Harbor Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, in Lewes, DE. He was born on, August 14, 1966, in Cidra, Puerto Rico, son of the late Teodoro Maisonet Franco and Maximina Mercado (Sullivan).
On July 23, 1993, he married the love of his life, Nancy Maisonet in Long Island, NY, and together they shared numerous adventures and raised their beautiful family. He selflessly dedicated his entire adult life to raise his children and making a loving home for his family. Mr. Maisonet was known for his love of watching wrestling, always rooting for his favorites. He was known for his fondness of watching cooking shows and forensic documentaries such as The First 48 Hours and Caso Cerrado. Mr. Maisonet could often be found playing dominoes and listening to music, Spanish music in particular. He had a lovely singing voice and he enjoyed dancing any chance he got. Although he enjoyed his hobbies, nothing could compare to the love that he had for his friends and family and the time spent with them was what he cherished most. Mr. Maisonet was a loving and nurturing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be forever missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Maisonet was predeceased by his daughter, Tabitha Maisonet, and his granddaughter, Mya Glasco. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Maisonet; his children: Justina Mercado, Jissena Lukeman, Ashley Maisonet, Angelina Maisonet, and Julio Maisonet Jr.; his 7 grandchildren; his 4 brothers; and his 2 sisters.
