I Loved Julia with all my Heart. As the past Director of Harbour Lights CHEER Center, Julia and I became very close Friends. She was always willing to help me out with anything and also let me know when she wanted to make a change within the center she loved so much. She and I spent many hours talking about our Families and Julia loved her Family so much. She was one of the strongest women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and she made me a stronger, better person. I will never forget her or the times I picked her up at Jiffy Lube after getting her car maintenance and all the baked cakes and pizzelles she made for me in appreciation. She was a great baker and she made our bake sales a success. She loved Bingo and she was the Master of Prize Bingo. She donated her time and talents to the center in more ways than I can count.. God Bless Her and her Family.I know she is in Heaven looking down on us all.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this time of grief. May she rest in peace. kk
Julia was a wonderful person and a caring individual. She felt very strongly about Harbour Lights Cheer Center -- always making sure that there was a special time for everyone, and that they could share their opinions during monthly meetings when she served as President. Her favorite time, except for times with her family, was planning and participating in the Christmas party. She made sure everyone had a gift and had a good time. I know she was looking forward to this year's celebration too at Baywood. There are special people in this world, and she was certainly one of them. I am proud that she considered me a friend. I saw her several weeks ago at Coastal Cuts when we had similar appointments, and although it had been months since I saw her last, she greeted me as if it were yesterday. She will be missed by so many of us. May God grant peace to her family as they mourn her loss, but we know she's in heaven, organizing the angels for the greatest Christmas ever.
