Obituary
Joyce I.(Mayer) McDaniel, age 80, of Bridgeville, DE died Friday, December 23, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Patchogue, NY. She was a co-owner and operator of the News Print Shop, Inc. in Bridgeville from 1951 until retiring in 1989. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bridgeville where she had served on various committees and on the Altar Guild. She was a volunteer librarian for many years at the Bridgeville Library.
She is survived by her husband George H. McDaniel; two daughters: Sharon A. Workman and her husband Slaye and Sandra J. Rementer and her husband Chuck; all of Bridgeville; 1 son: Rev. Kenneth G. McDaniel and wife Cynthia of Lexington, KY; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2005 , with Rev. Gary Tulak officiating. A visitation hour will be held for family and friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will follow at Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Tunnell Cancer Center, 424 Savannah Road, Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, DE 19958.
