Jo was a joy to know and work with at Strawbridge & Clothier. She was my Assistant in the Springfield store in Cosmetics before I left & she took over. She will be remembered in my prayers.
I enjoyed the time we were able to spend together. She was always interested in knowing how everyone in the family was doing. Aunt DoeDoe was a special person and will be deeply missed.

Remembering Jo for the wonderful care she took of my sweet puppy dog, Scruffy, many years ago when my family went to Greece for 2 weeks. Scruffy adored her and Karen said she looked so sad in the car leaving Jo behind. Although I don't believe we ever saw each other after that, I kept in touch through my dear friend of 50 years her daughter. She was a wonderful mother and I know will be missed so much by the entire family.

To me, "Aunt DoDo" was always the example of grace and kindness I wish the world could be. I could spend all day just listening to her tell stories and simply be be in her presence. Everyone who knew her can't help but be a better person today.
