Josephine H. King's Obituary
Josephine H. King, age 94, of Lewes, DE passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at home. She was born Thursday, June 22, 1922 in Denver, CO, to Florence "Sara" (Plews) Haskin.
Mrs. King was accomplished in knitting and sewing. She also enjoyed square dancing, wood carving, and traveling the world.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard G. King.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jodi K. Temple, of Chester Springs, PA, and Sara A. King, of Lewes, DE; her granddaughter, Brandan Lykens and her husband, Trevor, and her two great-grandsons, Jacob and Ethan Lykens.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where friends may visit between 10:00 and 10:30 AM.
Burial will be private.
