Joseph Benjamin Zullo Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph (Joe Ben) Benjamin Zullo, Jr. 77 of Lewes, DE passed away on Saturday, January 9,2021 at his home in Lewes, DE surrounded by his family. He was born on September 8, 1943 in Lewes, DE son of the late Joseph Benjamin and Lorraine (Bryan) Zullo.
Mr. Zullo proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, Florida, and Guam. After 40 years he retired as store manager from Shore Distributors in Georgetown, DE. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed activities with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid model train enthusiast and earlier in his life he enjoyed skiing and riding his motorcycle. He was kind, generous and lived by the golden rule. He had fond memories of growing up on Lewes Beach at a time when he could have bonfires with his family and ride his horse Dusty on the beach.
Mr. Zullo is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wanda (Taylor) Zullo; his daughter, Amy Metzner and her husband Frank of Lewes, DE and their daughters, Mallory, Julia, and Camryn Metzner; his son, Joseph B. Zullo III and his wife Claudia and their son, Joseph B. Zullo IV of The Woodlands, Texas. Other family members are his sisters: Diane Palmer, Brenda Zullo, and Pamela Travis.
