Joseph Charles Rison's Obituary
Joseph "Joe" C. Rison, 63, passed away on April 16, 2022, after a challenging battle with Lupus. Born June 3, 1958, he was the son of James and Virginia Thompson.
As a member of Local 100 for over 35 years, Joe recently retired from ADJ Sheet Metal as a project manager. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle, and he truly enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and puppies. Joe was a sports enthusiast and could always provide details on the Washington Nationals and other area sporting events.
In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his siblings: Mary Rison Lowe, Bonnie Rison Rouser, David Thompson, Patty Simons, Thomas Thompson, Mark Simons, and Lori Rison Lusk; his nieces and nephews: Ray Rison Jr, Ashley Rison, Shannon Rison, Nicole Lowe, Nathan Lowe, and Seth Rison; his great nieces and nephews: Camden O'Haran, Aubree O'Haran and Jaxon Lowe; a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Irving Rison; his loving sister, Pat Spaterella; his brothers: Donald Rison, Ray Rison, and Ronnie Thompson; and his nephew, Chad Rison.
There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
