Joseph Richard Senichka III's Obituary
We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Senichka, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 75 in his Milton, Delaware home, surrounded by cherished family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Driscoll Senichka, his sister Susanne, and his parents, Joseph and Amelia (Nosti). He is survived by his wife, Donna James, his son Stephen (Giana Patton), his granddaughter Skylar, and his two stepchildren, Courtney Kruse (Jimmy) and Kenneth James (Lexi). Joe’s warmth, kindness, and love will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born in New Jersey, Joe grew up in the close-knit community of Hillside, where he distinguished himself as an accomplished powerlifter and excelled in both football and wrestling. A dedicated union sheet metal worker by trade, Joe had an extraordinary gift for making friends, transforming acquaintances into family wherever he went.
Despite battling ALS for many years, Joe never allowed the disease to define him. Instead, he defined it through his remarkable legacy of courage, selflessness, and unconditional love. He leaves behind a profound impact, forever remembered for embodying the spirit of “hard and heavy.”
