Hello.
I met Joe in 1973 when he was managing the Angola, Delaware electronic switch conversion. I found Joe to be an extremely friendly, talented, hospitable, family oriented and conscientious guy - - - who also knew a lot of good jokes! I again caught up with Joe shortly after his wife died. There can be no doubt that he and Betty have been reunited in the Lord's presence. God Bless! Joe Burch

Joe and Family, sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. I remember during some of our many conversations you talking proudly of your Dad and the things and good time you guys had together. After meeting 'Pop' nearly five years ago, I knew right away there was something special about this man. He welcomed me with open arms and treated me as part of this wonderful Family. During many visits, we enjoyed dinners, laughs and his great stories, (even those told several times. :-) But they were always worth hearing over and over.
Pop had a wonderful way of making me feel a great sense of comfort just being around him. Always felt like I was 'Home'.
Having seen him go through this difficult struggle these last few months with great courage, strength and dignity, it confirmed what I already knew....that he was one of the strongest men I'd ever met. It was an honor and a pleasure to have gotten to know this wonderful man and I will miss him dearly. Love you lots, Pop, may you rest in Peace.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. McQuaide was a wonderful man, father and grandfather. He always had a smile and interesting conversation. He truly loved his family. We always enjoyed spending time with him at family get-togethers. Take comfort that his pain and suffering are over and he is at peace. Your memories of him will help with the grief and he will always be in your hearts. We send our thoughts, prayers, and love in this difficult time.
