Joseph John Joachimowski's Obituary
Joseph John Joachimowski Sr., age 79, of Ocean View, DE, formerly of New Castle, DE passed away on Thursday, August 08, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center. He was born in Wilmington, DE on April 11, 1934, son of the of the late Jesse and Mary (Glowiak) Joachimowski.
Mr. Joachimowski retired from the University of Delaware after 22 years of service where he worked as a Master Machinist with Health and Life Sciences. He was a US Army Veteran and member of the Polish Library of Wilmington (a mens’ club). Mr. Joachimowski loved his beach house, fishing and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Theodora Mary (Janicki) Joachimowski; two sons Joseph John Joachimowski, Jr and wife Paula Louise of Ocean View, DE; Theodore Mark Joachimowski and wife Sherry Ann of Newark, DE; grandchildren Tyler Mark and Taylor Marie Joachimowski of Newark, DE and granddaughter-in-law Anita Marie Campbell of Newark, DE.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Aug. 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE. where friends may visit with the family at the church beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will be private.
