I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew of Mr. Furey in passing. He would walk past my place of work, at The Printz Motel, on Columbia Avenue in Rehoboth most mornings to get the newspaper. He would say hello. And, although I didn't speak more than that to him, he just seemed to radiate a pleasantness that was evident just in that brief hello. I am sure he was a wonderful man. I will miss saying hello to him on his way to get the newspaper. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.
Mr. Furey was a wonderful customer of mine and I was very sad to hear about his passing. I always looked forward to seeing him come into the toy store as he was so very fond of the little ones he was buying for. He was always so appreciative of the help he received. I will surely miss seeing his kind, smiling face.
The Furey family has been an inspiration to me and to so many people through the years, and it all started with Joe. He was an amazing man. I feel blessed to have known him and learned from him. His laughter, his love of family, and his attitude toward life gave everyone he touched a blueprint for living the right way.
