Joseph Vincent Cribbin Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph Vincent Cribbin, Sr, age 80, formerly of Washington DC, was called to his heavenly home on January 11, 2020, at his residence in Lewes, Delaware.
Joe was a certified public accountant and civil servant in the Federal Government for 35 years. He was a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School, class of 1957, and University of Maryland. Joe enjoyed regaling his family and friends with stories and laughter. He was an accomplished home cook, vintner, brewer, and model railroad enthusiast. Joe adored babies, puppies, and Santa Claus. He lived his life rooted in faith and prayer and devotion to his family. His faith in God was the compass of his life. Joe was married to his beloved Tissie (Christine) for 54 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jenny Faulkner Cribbin. He is survived by his children: Elizabeth, Joseph Vincent Jr, Anne Marie, and John; his son-in-law, Jim Korte; and his grandchildren: Ian and Nicholas Galope; his brother, James Patrick (Pat) Cribbin; as well as nieces and nephews.
Joe will be interred alongside his beloved wife, Christine at Peter’s Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE.
