Joseph E. Costello's Obituary
Joseph E. Costello, age 71 of Lewes, DE passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born Friday, October 26, 1945 in Lewes, DE, son of the late Francis and Beatrice Costello.
Joe lived in the Rehoboth and Lewes area his entire life. He graduated from Cape Henlopen High School, where he played football. He coached several football and baseball teams throughout his life and loved playing golf, fishing, going to the beach, and eating crabs often at Lazy Suzan’s. He was an avid University of Delaware Football fan. He has touched many lives throughout his years and will be sadly missed by many.
In addition to his father, Mr. Costello was preceded in death by his step mother Tina Costello. He leaves behind loving wife Barbara Costello; his children Tammy Costello, Joseph Costello II and Kimberly Jeffries-Nunez; his grandchildren: Billy Costello, Havanna Nunez and Asher Rosoff; his brother Tommy Costello; his sisters Mary and Ann Costello; and many extended family members, friends, neighbors, and friends at Suburban Propane and Department of Motor Vehicle.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where family and close friends may visit beginning at 1:00 PM.
