Linda,
I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sometimes in this life you are bleassed to meet a special soul that makes you feel like an old and treasured friend the first time you meet, that was Joe Corcoran. Always smiling, polite, a gentle man with an endless amount of courage. I had the priviledge of being his nurse. Although, being with Linda and Joe was never work, but, a lesson in unconditional love. Linda you are in my prayers. Joe, you have your wings, while your learning to fly, we are learning to live, I will miss you.
I thoroughly enjoyed the times we had together, whether fishing, target shooting, or just talking. He was a gentleman.
Linda,
No man could ask for a more loving, caring, dedicated mate than you were to Joe.
We were so blessed to know Joe who was such a gentle man. We loved his sense of humor. The only times we caught lots of fish on our fishing trips was when Joe was with us telling us where they were biting!! We will miss you, Joe, until we meet you again in our Father's house. xxxx
Dear Linda and friend, My Heart goes out to you during your time of loss. Joe was truely special and I am glad to have had the PRIVELIDGE to have been his Singing Nurse. I too had become very fond of Joe who truely did have a smile that would lite up any room. And He loved you dearly, and spoke often of your dedication to him. God Speed in healing of your Heart.
Someone once told me that a hero is defined as an ordinary person who does ordinary things in extraordinary circumstances. Linda, the love and care you showed for Joe during the past few years and the way in which you lived your life as a therapist, a mother, a grandmother, a wife, and a friend makes you a hero in the eyes of myself and of Joe. You are a strong woman and I truly admire you. I am so lucky to have met you both and to have worked with a man who didn't let doctors or therapists tell him he couldn't do something. He was going to find a way to make it happen and would push himself to achieve what others didn't think was possible. I will miss the smile and sarcasm that was Joe, but every time I watch the Eagles play, I know Joe will be yelling at the t.v. as much as I am!
God Bless you Joe and Linda
Joe was a blessing and inspiration to our family. I pray that his positive outlook continues to grow in all of us. Thank you for sharing your wonderful husband with us Linda.
Linda, I did not know Joe well however he seemed like a wonderful man. He made you happy and that was what was important to me. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Praying that you can feel God's Love giving you strength and courage. Love and Prayers, Suzanne
Uncle Joe was a wonderful uncle and he will be missed terribly by both of us. We will miss the conversations, good times fishing, and even him hitting on Luz by calling her hot! He had such an amazing wife and we hope she stays strong!
When Joe became a part of our large family, he did not just bring his great smile, but a heart that was full of kindness. From his positive outlook, to his aptitude for thankfulness, he was a blessing to all of us. He was a selfless man, who had a genuine interest in the lives of those around him. I hope and pray that we can all reflect on his joyful and loving nature. His actions reflected a heart of humility and love, which were the foundation of Jesus Christ's message to humankind. I am thankful for the opportunity to have been loved by God through Joe Corcoran.
