Joseph B. Churchman, Sr., of Dewey Beach passed away at home on September 24, 2022. He was 86. Joe was born on August 8, 1936, in Dover, Delaware to the late Joseph E. and Mary T. Churchman. He was a graduate of the John Bassett M Read Obituary
Associated with Joe for several years in the 1970's when he managed the data center at Alco Standard. His excellent management skills were instrumental in the transformation of a small organization into a team providing computer resources to a ever expanding Alco Standard Corporation. On a personal note, Joe and Jane hosted my family to a wonderful night at Rehoboth beach during our vacation in the 1980's. Forever in out thoughts.
Joe and Jane were friendly great neighbors. We appreciated their kindness and true interest and helpful attitude. Joe didn't like the guy³ in back of the mailboxes and he was a nuisance to us too. We will remember them fondly.
