Joseph Paul Buck's Obituary
Joseph Paul Buck, 71, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on January 13, 2025. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 17, 1953, to Joseph and Alma Buck.
Joseph worked as a machinist in the food industry until his retirement, after which he moved to Rehoboth Beach, DE. In Rehoboth, he continued to work for many years at Walmart, where he enjoyed staying active and connecting with others.
He had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly the walking trails, and spent much of his time in nature. Joseph was known for his great sense of humor and his love of playing cards. He was a jokester who could always be counted on to bring a smile to those around him.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Brenda, and his children: son Joseph Buck of NJ, daughter Heather Bickford (William) of FL, and daughter Tina Buck of NJ; his step-son Andrew Gush of Marlton, NJ; and his step-daughter Tara Gush of Rehoboth Beach, DE. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Avery Gush, Aidan and Brielle Bickford; his sisters: Linda Buck of California, and Melody Buck of California; his brother Skip of Oregon; and many extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Alma Buck, and his sister Nioma.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at a later date.
