I am deeply saddened to hear that Joe passed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
The Shockley Family is so saddened to hear of Joe'a passing. We all always enjoyed seeing him at Lloyd's and Buck truly enjoyed working with him in the summers. He kept us updated on his father-in-laws' health a couple of years ago-and we learned then how deeply his feelings ran for those he cared about. He will be missed. I knew Joe's thru Lloyd's tho we went to high school @ the same time. I would alway's say Hi to me him, he was such a nice polite unassuming guy- easy going! I am greatly saddened to hear he has passed! May he rest in everlasting peace! My deepest sympathies to his wife & family!
Joe was one of those friends that you make through the years by crossing paths now and then. For me it was in Lloyd's Market where Joe was always helpful, kind, smiling and unassuming. The friendly cast at Lloyd's will be diminished by Joe's absence but the positive spirit he has left behind will keep the lights burning there a little brighter for many years to come.
