Joey was the epitome of a thoughtful, kind, and decent man. I consider myself very fortunate to have known him and been his friend. To be Joey's friend was to know that he would always look out for you, be loyal and true to you. I never met anyone who didn't like Joey, I don't think it was possible. The world was better with him in it and he will truly be missed.
I believe I may have known Joe longer that anyone else alive. He was my first & best friend for 62 years. I have known Joe since the age of five. His loss is devastating to me and to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. I am very thankful I was able to spend last Saturday with him to tell him how much he is loved and also to pray with him. I take comfort knowing he is now with God. Until we meet again...God's peace Joey!
