I am so saddened by your loss. John was an amazing man that brought many smiles to my face. Laura, stay strong.
I worked with John at the Morris Library at the University of Delaware. He was a nice fellow and I'm so sorry to read of his passing. My condolences to the family.

What a long strange trip it’s been.
Cathie and I have wonderful memories of John’s laugh and irreverent sense of humor. I still run across the picture of Heather and Kate on a very early trip to Longwood when you and I were at Easter Seal and Friendly People gatherings.
Never thought John would be traveling amongst the stars when he was searching the heavens. Every year I gather with the Chester County Astronomy Association for a community Sky Tour. Next time I’ll dedicate the event to John. I’m sure there is a Harley constellation out there somewhere.
We will miss John but he is fondly remembered.
