John "Jack" Thomas Michael Lee's Obituary
John "Jack" Thomas Michael Lee, age 77, of Sussex county, DE passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was the son of the late Robert E. and Theresa V.
Mr. Lee graduated from Salesianum High School and went on to attend the University of Delaware where he received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his education at LaSalle Extension University where he received a Bachelor of Law degree. Mr. Lee had a lifelong career with ICI Aerospace in Valley Forge, PA from which he retired as Ordnance Engineering Manager. Mr. Lee enjoyed a very creative mind, he acquired 16 patents, the airbag patent being his proudest moment.
Mr. Lee was a lifelong chairman of the emirates explosives and pyrotechnics section of the American Ordnance Association. He was also a life member of the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Lee will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a dear friend by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas and Daniel Lee. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eloise E.; three sons: Matt, Daniel and his wife Grace and Brendan and his wife Melinda; two daughters: Mary Theresa and her husband Paul and Kelly and her husband Michael; ten grandchildren: Ben, Nathan, Adam, Jared, Seth, Matthew, Aaron, Greg, Meredith and Elaina; one great-grandson, Ethan and his beloved terrier, Ellie Mae.
