Beth, sorry to read about the loss of your Dad. I had forgotten how active he was. Your family will be in Pam and my thoughts.
Jack, we will miss you.
I was just a child, but my parents, Janice and Bill Doherty, with her sister, Mary Selee would rent a cabin for 11 kids - 2 weeks every summer. Mr. Redefer was the nicest (and tallest) man I knew at the time. I have a photo of him walking with us to the beach. F Memories of us kids crammed in the orange stained shower at the end of a beach day are embedded in thoughts of childhood summers. Later my parents bought #7 Surfside Plaza on McKinnley Street and the love-affair with Dewey Beach continued. I will always remember Mr. Redefer with fondness and I am so sorry for your loss.
