John J. Logullo Jr.'s Obituary
John J. Logullo, Jr., age 82, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024. He was born on January 16, 1942, in Wilmington, DE, son of the late John J. and Helen E. Logullo.
Mr. Logullo enjoyed a fulfilling career in automotive sales across Delaware, dedicating his talents to dealerships such as Colonial Chevrolet, IG Burton, Millsboro Auto Mart, and CP Diver. He was a dedicated member of St. Jude the Apostle Church, where he served as an extraordinary Eucharistic minister. John also contributed his time to the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge #2540.
In his leisure time, Mr. Logullo pursued his passions for golf, fishing, and crabbing. An enthusiastic supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, he relished in sports and spending quality time with loved ones. Known for his skill at the grill and his love for outdoor games like horseshoes and cornhole, John cherished moments with his grandchildren and many friends above all else. Mr. Logullo was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Mr. Logullo is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cynthia A. Logullo; their children Sandra L. Minio and her husband Robert of Longneck, DE, Leslie R. Logullo of Dover, DE, Kelly L. Pettyjohn of Lewes, DE, John J. Logullo III of Newark, DE, Brent E. Logullo and his wife Nissa of New Castle, DE; his brother Frank M. Logullo and his wife Desi of Hockessin, DE; nephews Frankie Logullo, Christopher Logullo, and Michael Logullo; grandchildren Lindsay Krause, Wayne Krause, Ryan Logullo, Rachel Logullo, and Mollie Pettyjohn, and her father Brian Pettyjohn; and great-grandchild Mia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Dr., Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Dagsboro, DE.
