I was so so sad to hear that Jack had passed away. I am glad I had the opportunity to know him. He was always so kind to me. There wasn't a time that went by that Jack didn't stop by after mass to say hi and see how I was doing, and visa versa. I would look for him every Sunday. I was honored to know your dad, he was a great man, he always spoke so lovingly of his family. Many fond thoughts of Jack from my youth. Jack was an usher at the Eagles games at Connie Mach Stadium. He called and asked if I was interested in joining him as an usher. It paid $2.00 per game. He told me even though I was only 15 and the required age was 18, he could arrange it. Jack still ushered in the end zone but was hoping for a better placement but I should be expected to be assigned the end zone. Somehow they crossed the two Stevensons up and for the next 3 years I was assigned the 50 yard line. Jack remained in the end zone. God bless him and his family.

Jack will be fondly remembered as a true gentleman. His love of family and friends was always reflected in his genuine concern, kindness and ability to see the bright side of life. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none.

We loved having Jack on our Trivia team even though he talked all thru the questions
and we constantly had to have them repeated. He will be greatly missed.
