John F. Jordan, Jr. OBITUARY
John “Jack” Francis Jordan, Jr., 93, of Duluth, MN, passed away on April 1, 2024, in Lewes, DE. Jack, a devoted husband, father, and companion, was known for his fierce patriotism and unwavering faith.
A US Marine Corps combat veteran who served during the Korean Conflict from 1951-52, Jack retired from the Marine Corps in 1964. Following his military service, he pursued a career in auto and insurance sales while also making a name for himself as a talented songwriter and musician, alongside his wife Carolyn.
A devoted Christian, Jack and Carolyn dedicated their lives to the Christian faith, spreading their message through gospel and country music for several decades. After Carolyn passed following 49 years of marriage, Jack found love again with Donna Bee, sharing nearly 20 years of companionship.
In his later years Jack enjoyed traveling, playing the guitar, and soaking up the sun by the pool. A ceremony to honor his life will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on April 12, 2024, at 9:30 am.
Jack is survived by his companion Donna Bee and her family, along with his 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn, and grandson Travis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces in memory of John “Jack” Francis Jordan, Jr.
