I met John many years ago when he was working at Hajoca's in Lewes and like others have commented about his smile, he still had it right to the very end. We always looked forward to seeing him at the local McDonalds.

Our family has known Mr. Rhodes for some time. I will miss seeing him after church. He always asked me if I "caught 'em yet" (he knew I was a runner). -- "keep going!" He always asked after my dad also. He was such a nice man and will be greatly missed. I offer my prayers and sympathy to his family.

John was an outstanding person. He served his community honorably as a City Councilman,
generously donating his time to the betterment of its citizens. He always had time to help his neighbors with a smile on his face.
