Mr. G was my high school art teacher and yearbook advisor - as the yearbook editor for years, we worked hand in hand. I always enjoyed having Mr. G as a mentor at Cape. I ran into him a few years ago in the grocery store and it was nice to see his familiar face. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was shocked and sad to hear of Mr. G’s passing. He was my favorite teacher and a wonderful man. He always made things fun in his class. He was very special to me and my siblings. Rest in Peace Mr. G, you will be missed.
Sending my prayers and sincere condolences to you Ruth, John, and Lee.

Our thoughts and prayers to the family.
From the Bateman family.
`Mr. G was a special teacher to me in high school and as far as teachers go he was a friend too. In the fall of 1969 I started carving duck decoys in art class. After that Christmas Mr. G started too. He's the one who taught me how to paint a decoy right. I'll never forget him and I'm deeply sorry to hear of his passing. All my prayers are with Mrs. G and her family. David Benson
