John and I connected immediately after he came to IBM in the early 70's. Almost instantly we became best friends and remained so forever. He was the dearest and most caring person I knew, in spite of his more than occasional flakiness. So many memories together whether it was golf, fantasy games, or the racetrack. It was a thrill we he cashed a ticket on a 133 to 1 shot in the Breeder's Cup. Of course, he couldn't remember the name of the horse.
Mary Ann and I also had many wonderful times with John and Lynn. We miss her dearly.
