Donna, John will be missed by all. He has always been a blessing to everyone. Let us know if you need anything. My heart was heavy I could not attend today.
John was band moderator for a time while I was playing oboe in La Salle College HS's band under Dr. Donald S. Reinhardt.
He was one of the Brothers who inspired my own vocation to the Institute.
May he live with the Lord and all the saints in glory forever!
I had the blessing of making John's acquaintance through my cousins, the Freilands. What a guy!! The first time I met him, I felt as though I had known him forever. I regret that our paths did not cross more often because he was a joy to be around. May Donna and his family take comfort in knowing that he is now Safely Home in the arms of God, where he is free from pain and suffering. Rest in peace, John...and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Len & I are so grateful for the times you and John stopped by our home in Hadley. It's sad to know that John is the last remaining 1st cousin on my mom's side. I'm sure he's with his mom, dad, and the rest of his family on the other side. Until we meet again, dear cousin, rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss. John was a wonderfully generous man. We will miss him greatly.
He was family to us. Will miss him terribly.
I've never met a more generous, loving, and caring man. The minute you met him, you were family. He loved life and celebrated everyone and everything around him. What fun just to be in his presence! You've touched so many lives, John. You will be missed - a lot!
