Joanne Ruth Culver (Langrall)'s Obituary

Joanne Ruth Culver, age 79 of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. She was born in Baltimore, MD, on May 19, 1940, daughter of the late Hilby Burke Langrall and Ruth Evelyn Langrall (Meyers).
Mrs. Culver was a graduate of Easten High School in Baltimore and built a career with Catholic Charities there. She loved music and was a talented piano player, as well as a member of the church choir. Mrs. Culver enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time at the beach. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Culver is survived by her beloved husband, Merlin Fraser Culver of Bridgeville, DE; her son, Leroy Rimbach of Arizona; her daughter, Jennifer Milone of North Ridge, CA; her brothers: Burke Langrall (Jean) of Oklahoma and Dennis Langrall (Lynn) of Selbyville, DE; her sisters: Audrey Galloway (Jim) of Newnan, GA and Carole Dell'Amore (Jean) of Odenton, MD; her nieces: Christine and Suzann; and her nephews: David, Daniel and Matthew.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Victory Baptist Church, 16219 Sussex Highway, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may call beginning at 9:00 AM. In addition, a viewing will be held the night prior, on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE. Interment will take place on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, 2901 Taylor Avenue, Parkville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mrs. Culver's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 108 North Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE 19947.
