I am proud to say that I loved this woman like my Mother. She was always so gentle, kind and always had a smile and something nice to say. “The girls”,Cheryl, Lisa, Karen and Nancy were very dedicated to there loving Mom until she left this life. Joan is now back with the lover of her life Dick, who passed away in November 2017. These fine folks were neighbors and got to know them best at Conley’s United Methodist Church, Lewes, Delaware. They are both missed and may they Rest In Peace !
Lisa, I remember when I first met you, and you were living at the apartment in Newark. Your mom called to check on to see how you were doing. I just remember thinking to myself what a wonderful relationship you had with her. You were in the other room talking away with her. I remember how Chris said to us that night, how you and your mom talked all the time by phone. It is something that just stuck in my memory.
