Joan Ann Godwin's Obituary
Joan Krupack Godwin passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 23, 2024. She was born on February 4, 1939, in Wilkes - Barre, PA, daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine Krupack.
After graduating from high school, Joan moved to Delaware with her family and worked for Sussex Finances. On an evening out with friends, she met the love of her life, Walter "Turk" Godwin, an Airforce officer, home on leave. They married in August of 1957.

Joan enjoyed reading, cooking, entertaining, and playing cards. She volunteered at Hospice and the old Georgetown Library.
Joan was preceded in death by her daughter, Karyn, sister, Janice, and her beloved husband, Walter. She is survived by her son, David (Sandy); her granddaughter, Dana (Jose); her grandson, Daniel; her great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alaina, Chloe, and Collin; and many nieces and nephews.
