Jeffrey Alan Ivins, "Piggy", age 50, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE. Mr. Ivins was born June 2, l955 in Nuremberg, Germany. He was the son of the late William Douglas and Charlotte Rita (DeChatlet) Ivins.
Mr. Ivins was a self employed auto mechanic in the Rehoboth area. He was an avid motorcycle rider, he loved animals and he enjoyed immensely being with his friends.
Mr. Ivins is survived by his former wife, Pamela Ivins of Rehoboth Beach; his fiancee, Teresa Dixon of Rehoboth Beach; a brother, William D. Ivins of Takoma Park, MD; a sister, Julie Ivins of Germantown, MD; a nephew, Capt. William Ivins, III, USMC, Lovett, TX; his pet pitbull, "Duke"; and a host of family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 14, 11AM, at St. Edmond's Catholic Church, King Charles. and Laurel Streets, Rehoboth Beach with Father Ray Forrester officiating.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
