Jeannette W. Bennett's Obituary
Jeannette W. Bennett, age 87, formerly of Bridgeville, Delaware, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware.
She was born on May 18, 1924 in Cambridge, Maryland, daughter of the late Arcy Wheatley and Mabel Kinder Wheatley.
Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville, DE and she was an avid Bridge player.
She is survived by her husband Jack H. Bennett; two sons: Robert G. Adams of Unityville, PA and Stephen G. Adams of Lancaster, PA; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, Delaware with the Rev. Dr. Jervis Cooke and Chaplain Barbara Wilson officiating.
Interment will be private in Bethel Cemetery at Oak Grove, Seaford, DE.
