Our family is blessed to have known Jeanne from the time she and Bob were involved with the Trumbull, CT, High School Marching Band, through their years on Cape Cod. Our opportunities to visit were not frequent over the years, but Jeanne had an inclusive way of making you feel like no time had passed since you had seen her last. That was her special gift. We never felt the distance once we in her presence again. Being with Jeanne was always a "hoot' - no dull moments, no lapse in meaningful conversation, always some good laughs mixed with heartfelt emotion. Our prayers are with her daughters and extended family.

I knew Mrs. McCullagh from when we were neighbors in Trumbull; in her obituary it says "Jeanne was a doer, a leader, and an inspiration to act boldly and to serve others"... truer words have never been expressed. She was a vibrant and caring soul, and my childhood was better for having known her and her amazing family.
We just moved into the neighborhood and Mrs. McCullagh brought over a loaf of artesian bread and welcomed us to the community. Very kind of her. Very sorry for your loss.
