Jeanette C. Harper's Obituary
Jeanette Lucas Harper passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the age of 90 in her home in Millville, DE. Jeanette was born on January 3, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Emma and George P. Lucas.
After graduating from Seton High School in 1950, she worked as a customer service specialist for 20 years at the Maryland Nation Bank in Pikesville, MD. Jeanette was married to her late husband, Harry Radford Harper for 65 years. She always enjoyed traveling to Key West, FL, playing cards with friends, cheering for the Baltimore Ravens, and spending family time at the beach.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by her siblings, (infant) George, James, John, George, and Pauline Lucas; and her son-in law, Michael Winkler. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy, Jacqueline and husband Robert Skudrna, and Susan and husband Robert Grabarek; her brother, Matthew Lucas; her 7 grandchildren; her nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests relatives and friends to attend Jeanette’s memorial mass on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 10:30 AM, at the Historic Little Church of Sacred Heart Parish, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD ,21136. Interment will follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery, in Pikesville, MD.
