Dave, Katie, Amanda and Chris,
We are saddened to hear about the passing of your mother. On a recent trip to the beach we drove past your parents house and smiled as we saw the flag pole you put up for your dad. I wish I would have got t meet your dad earlier in life, he was such a loving man. I can remember him pulling up in his white truck and he always took the time to say hello and tell a story or two. I could tell your parents were proud of you and your family. How lucky you are to have such beautiful memories, your dad told many stories of the trips and vacations shared with your family. When he told me about the many trips to Florida, Myrtle Beach and the Virgin Islands I felt like I was there with you. I never experienced this with my parents an hope you know how much of a blessing this was. I hope you know that I can see so much of your dad in you and I bet people can see a lot of your mother in your sisters. What a great legacy they leave behind. As you know Monica just stared a new Job and is working with people who had worked with your dad. She has just stared hearing the tales of your dad and she said its funny how it sounds like they are speaking of you. The presidents gold coins that you have been awarded at work are not the only thing you have in common with your dad. keep the memories, share them, and never let them go.The baton has been passed, let the stories be shared.
