Janet Ann Paquin's Obituary
Janet Ann Paquin, wife of Richard (Joe) Paquin for 60 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 22, 2011 at her late residence. Janet was born in Baltimore, MD on June 6, 1931 daughter of John Kruger Jr. and M. Myrtle Clark Kruger. She was raised in Washington, DC until her marriage to Joe on Dec. 2, 1950. They raised their family in Glenn Dale, MD then she worked as a part time real estate agent for several years before going on to NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. She worked there for 17 years, a job she loved and enjoyed very much. She retired in Jan. 1994 and relocated to Milton, DE where she made many friends with her great smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Her years there were very happy and enjoyable.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 8 children, Rick Paquin and wife Debbie, David Paquin and wife Lisa Bender, Mike Paquin, John Paquin, Joe Paquin and Partner Joyce Zyllich, Steve Paquin, Billy Paquin and wife Nicole, and daughter JoAnn McGrath and husband Kevin, grandchildren, Brian and his wife Theresa, Brent and Eric Paquin, Lindsey Paquin Kane, Michelle and Chris McGrath, Stephen Snyder, Ricky Paquin, Matthew and Sydney Paquin, two sisters, Joan Facchina and Jackie Bateman and husband Joe, plus many loved nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive Lewes, Delaware with the Rev. James Hreha officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Delaware.
Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. at 1:00 PM.
