Jane Helen Lolk's Obituary
Jane Helen Lolk, age 62, of Lewes, DE, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. Born in Carlstadt, NJ, on June 16, 1949 , she is the daughter of Martha (Butler) Brinkman and the late Harold Brinkman.
Mrs. Lolk graduated from Jersey City College with a Masters degree in Education and was a teacher for many years before retiring to Lewes. Jane loved making crafts and was a true artist in this field, a glue gun was her best friend. She was also a great cook and decorator.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband,The Rev. Fr. Otto Lolk, sons, Shawn Harold Lolk and Christian Otto Lolk of Lewes, and step-son Darren Keith Lolk and wife Delica of Brooklyn, NY, brothers, John Brinkman and wife Barbara of Rockaway, NJ and James Brinkman of Glastenbury, CT. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces and three great nephews and three great nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:30 pm, at St. Georges Chapel, 20274 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, DE. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Adkins- Lodge Chapel 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE and at the church on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 2:00 p.m.- 2:30pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Georges Handicraft Group, 20274 Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, DE 19951.
