Jane E. Allen's Obituary
Jane E. Allen, age 85, of Seaford, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1940, in Milford, Delaware, to the late Arthur and Gladys Truitt. Jane graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1958.
Jane was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Eugene Allen, and together they shared 66 years of marriage. She worked as a finisher at Nanticoke Homes until her retirement in 1994.
Jane enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved sweets—especially ice cream—laughing, talking with family and friends, attending church and Sunday school, and dancing on Saturday nights with friends.
Jane is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Allen; her son, Samuel Allen (Jesusa); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Ashley) Allen, and Janice Allen; and her great-grandchildren, Mila, Liam, Landon, and Layton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bridgeville Cemetery, 2 N. Laws St., Bridgeville, DE 19933.
